He was going to kill him.

Kelvin slowly walked toward a nearby wall. He leaned against it, and gradually slid down the wall, shaking uncontrollably. He was hyperventilating. A single thought repeated itself in his mind.
“He was going to kill me. He was going to kill me. He was going to kill me.
After a few minutes, he noticed someone walking toward him. She was tall, appeared to be in her mid twenties, and had several noticeable scars. Her hair was light brown, and cut short in a military style. She wore a trenchcoat with a very large number of pockets. Most of the pockets contained weapons of some sort. Knives, Pistols, even hand grenades. She was holding a rifle.
“He was going to kill me.”
        “Yeah. That’s true.”
“But he was going to kill me.”
        “Yep.”
“But he was going to kill me.”
        “Sure thing.”
“But. He. Was. Going. To. Kill. Me.”
“BUT HE WAS GOING TO KILL ME!”
        “Absolutely.”
