Kelvin continued down the hall, looking in the rooms. He came to a three-way intersection. The wall in front of him had various signs with arrows pointing left, right, or back the way he came:

“Right. I would assume administration.” Kelvin turned left, and walked down the hall. “Left. I turned left. When I go back I need to go right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right.” He removed a notebook from his jacket and wrote “right” at the bottom left-hand corner of the first page.
He looked up, and noticed that the hallway was completely deserted, as before. There was no one in sight behind him.
“That is odd. Where are they?” He continued down the hall.
